The Hotel

Set in a converted cluster of fisherman’s houses along Portree Harbour the hotel offers plenty of character and quirks. There are 17 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms including  with facilities such as hairdryers, tea/coffee making facilities, fan and an iron on request.

Please note: due to the nature of the hotel there is no lift and rooms are only accessible via stairs. Our rooms are spread across three floors and corridors can be narrow. We offer various room sizes and layouts, from small to large or family.

We do not accept American Express.

The Restaurant

Our intimate restaurant on the 1^st floor of the hotel offers a cosy atmosphere and sea view. With a focus on fresh, local produce and seasonal products.

Breakfast is included with your stay. Served to hotel guests only.

Booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Portree and The Isle of Skye

The Rosedale is based on the harbour in Portree on the Isle of Skye. The harbour is a hub of activity and is still used by local fishing boats, boating trips and visiting cruise ships. Portree is a bustling town with many tourist attractions. Only 5 miles away is the peak of Ben Tianavaig and 17 miles for the Isle of Raasay. The world famous Cuillin Hill mountain range is under 10 miles away.

Portree is a central location for your stay on Skye and provides easy travel to all of Skye's unmissable locations. Whether you are on foot or taking one of several pre-booked minibus or private hire tours there will be plenty to see and do. 

Parking

The hotel does not have car parking. Due to the high volume of visitors in the area parking is limited. There are two council car parks within walking distance of the hotel however parking charges will apply. Parking is also available on the pier although is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
